Shavuot is the springtime festival that celebrates the giving of Torah on Mt. Sinai and the conclusion of the counting of the Omer. We celebrate Shavuot by eating lots of tasty dairy products, studying and discussing late into the night, and reading the biblical Megillah (book) of Ruth! Immerse yourself in the story of Ruth! Hear and experience the voices of the Biblical story, acted and chanted by our talented clergy and cast of all ages, featuring big-screen text, costumes, and more!
8:15pm - Festival Ma’ariv, Kiddush, and Dairy Oneg
8:45pm - Love Your Neighbor: The Torah of Minnesota
An evening of study and reflection on how we show up for one another, welcome the stranger and the immigrant, and protect the vulnerable in our community. Led by Adath clergy, beginning with a special presentation by our teen members Shoshi Goldberg and Ethan Aronauer.
9:30pm - Love Your Neighbor: Panel Discussion
Stories of immigration, welcoming, and the work ahead. A panel discussion moderated by Rabbi Seid and featuring Adath members Bob Aronson, Debbie Krawetz, Ramon Sorstokke, and more.
