Tikkun Leil ShavuotThursday, May 25 • 7:00-10 pm • Register to attend
Shavuot celebrates the completion of the journey toward revelation and the giving of the Torah. It is also the season of first fruits of the harvest, and we read the book of Ruth, a beautiful love story set during this time of the year. On this special evening, we will have the unique opportunity to delve deep into the book of Ruth, first experiencing a multi media presentation accompanied by chanting in parts (with light staging and costumes), enjoying cheesecake while studying the main characters of the story, uncovering the life lessons of kindness and second chances.
7:00pm: “Staged Multimedia Reading” of Book of Ruth 7:40pm: Ma’ariv 8:00pm: “Ruth Behind the Scenes: A character study of Ruth and the middah of Chesed" Study and Cheesecake |
