Service Scholarships for Jewish Summer Camp or
Israel Programs June 2024 – May 2025

Now is the time to plan for Jewish summer camp and Israel programs. Adath Jeshurun Congregation annually awards Merit and Financial Aid Scholarships to encourage participation by Adath students in Jewish summer camp and Israel programs. Students should apply beginning December1st for an Adath scholarship if they plan to attend the following approved programs between June 2024 and May 2025:

• Camp Ramah
• Ramah Israel Pilgrimage
• USY Summer in Israel Program
• Young Judea camps or programs in Israel
• Herzl Camp
• Camp Chi
• High school programs in Israel sponsored or endorsed by the Conservative Movement, such as Ramah or USY, Alexander Muss High School in Israel and BBYO.

Merit Awards for service to our Adath community are available for those applicants who are active participants in Shabbat Morning Program, B’Yachad Sunday Program, or other approved volunteer roles at Adath..  Financial aid is also available for those applicants whose families demonstrate financial need in order to attend approved programs.

Scholarship materials are available online at www.adathjeshurun.org.  Note that Adath has its own scholarship application. Students who apply for aid elsewhere using the Minneapolis Jewish Federation community application also need to complete the Adath application.  Additional scholarship assistance is also available directly from individual camps, programs in Israel, the Minneapolis Jewish Federation and Jewish Family Children’s Service of Minneapolis.
