Gan Shelanu Preschool Beit Tinokot & Preschool Gan Shelanu is Adath Jeshurun Congregation’s early childhood program for children aged six weeks through Pre-Kindergarten. Adath Youth Groups Adath Youth Department offers the Jewish Youth Group within the international USY organization. USY for 9-12th grade, Kadima Gesher for 6-8th grade, and Chaverim for 4-5th grade. These groups/chapters are a fun way for Jewish children, tweens, teens to form friendships, learn more about their religion and culture, and become leaders in their community. Join Adath USY. Shabbat Morning Program Grades 5 - 7: SMP is the cornerstone of educating our young congregants. All children entering 5th grade and above who plan to celebrate a B'nai Mitzvah at Adath Jeshurun are required to attend the program for 5th-7th Graders. Register for SMP Questions? The curriculum includes Ethics - emphasizing the Ethics of Speech, "Shmirat Lashon," leadership skills and tzedakah that inform their role as mentors of younger students; and a review of their prayer and Torah skills. Register for 8th Grade SMP Shabbat Morning Program Teen Tutors Grades 9 - 12: It is a proud Adath tradition for teens to serve as SMP staff. This vital role engages these teens in Jewish life and teaches them responsibility, and the value of passing on our traditions. TEN@ADATH Teen Educational Network TEN@ADATH Tuesday classes Ten@Adath is our congregation-based experiential learning program, providing a dynamic space on Tuesdays for teens to deepen their Jewish identity, expand their learning and connect with ancient wisdom in the world around us (includes Heschel Study Group). The Ten@Adath 2022-2023 school year begins in September 2022 through May 2023. Classes are scheduled to be held in-person. Register to join. TEN@ADATH Heschel Study Group With the purpose of ‘investing in the future’, our Jewish community lies in the passions of those who are learning about Judaism and practicing what they learn once a month with a Saturday Shabbat Kiddush lunch. Moving Traditions - Shevet, Rosh Hodesh Rosh Hodesh Girls' group & SHEVET Boys' group - A program of Moving Traditions Rosh Hodesh is a contemporary monthly celebration of the ancient New Moon holiday for girls in grades 8 -12 that builds self-esteem, leadership skills, Jewish identity, and great friendships. A program of Moving Traditions, each grade level has its own cohort. Rosh Hodesh has been offered at Adath since 2005. Shevet, a brotherhood for boys in grades 8 -12, builds self-esteem, leadership skills, Jewish identity and great friendships. A program of Moving Traditions, each grade level has its own cohort.
