At the end of the year, on the second day of Shavuot, graduates will have the opportunity to help lead services, read from Torah, and/or deliver a d’var Torah. Note: You may also take either course as a stand-alone class. Course 1: Finding Meaning in Shabbat Prayer • Mondays • 6:30-7:30pm • Zoom • $50 Our curriculum is the liturgy of Shabbat, starting with lighting the Friday night candles and ending with Havdalah. We’ll discuss interpretation, significance, origins, and artistry of the prayers, as well as their “choreography.” As Hebrew skills improve, we can add time to practice saying the prayers. 2022-23 Dates: Coming soon!
