The mission of Adath Jeshurun Congregation, a member of the Conservative Movement, is to be a progressive, egalitarian and sacred community dedicated to Torah (learning and tradition), Avodah (prayer and spirituality) and Gemilut Hasadim (acts of loving kindness).

AIMS AND PURPOSES:
To fulfill the aims and purposes of our Mission statement, this Congregation is dedicated to the following:
To maintain regular daily, Sabbath, and Holy Day worship services (which express the traditional character of the liturgy) in the spirit of the Conservative Movement;
To provide for the Jewish education of its children through formal and informal settings;
To provide Jewish study opportunities for the adult congregation;
To promote cultural and social activities for its membership appropriate to a House of Worship;
To participate in communal endeavors on behalf of the people of Israel and world Jewry;
To apply the ethical teachings of Judaism to the issues of our society;
To make Judaism a vital force in the practice of life cycle events; and
To contribute to the welfare of civic life.
