You are Welcome at Adath

Adath Jeshurun Congregation embraces those who want to live in the light of our tradition, from kids who dance on our bimah, to young adults who celebrate Shabbat in Loring Park, to older adults who deliver meals for those in need. We are straight, LGBTQ, Ashkenazi, Sepharadi, people of color, all ages, physical abilities, and family structures. We welcome lifelong State Fair goers, as well as those who are new to Minnesota winters.

Adath membership is an active experience and is not limited to one space. Inside our sanctuary or at a coffee shop downtown, Adath stands on the pillars of dynamic learning (Torah), renewal through prayer (Avodah), and acts of kindness (Gemilut Hasadim) that comfort and challenge us. Those who grew up Jewish, who came to Judaism later in life, and family members in interfaith relationships can all find a place to call home.

Becoming a member of Adath, affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, is a way to invest in our mission as a progressive, egalitarian, and sacred community. We believe in the possibility of transformation when each person’s spark is connected to such a community.

Our community thrives because, not in spite of, different ways people are able to give of their financial resources and time. Adath membership is possible no matter the dollar amount you are able to give. We promote a culture of giving that encourages those who can to give more financial resources or time to enable everybody’s participation in the life of a vibrant congregation.

Each conversation we have about membership starts a relationship. We can’t wait to meet you.

Learn more about Membership

Joining Adath for the first time? Email the Adath Office. Or you can complete your Membership Application today and we’ll reach out to get to know you face-to-face.

We love connecting people. You’ll notice a place to check if you’d like to be introduced to a “buddy” household in the congregation to show you the ropes, have you over for a Shabbat meal, or go out for coffee.
