Shem Tov Award

We are excited to announce that Heidi Schneider has been selected as the Adath 2025 Shem Tov Award winner.

Come join us at Adath’s annual meeting as we honor Heidi for her many years of service to our congregation and to our larger community.

Heidi has always recognized that learning is a treasure that follows you throughout life. She describes herself as a lifelong learner who was raised on the Minnesota prairie in a small town nestled between the Des Moines River and acres of farm fields.

Heidi began her Jewish learning journey at Adath, even before she officially became a member. She says that she has been blessed with incredible teachers that have supported her and mentored in her various leadership roles. Heidi is both a community leader and teacher. Her leadership roles include being our Adath President as well as being the Chair of the Masorti Foundation for Conservative Judaism in Israel and the Center for Contemporary Mussar. Heidi also has taught in high schools and adult learning courses about Israel and Judaism and has advocated for causes she believes in at the Minnesota State Capitol, at the U.S. Capitol, and even at Israel’s Knesset.

Come learn more about Heidi’s journey and give her a huge hug after our Annual Meeting for the many ways she blesses our community.
