Gross Family Library
Where Adath Members Read, Learn & Relax
The Adath Jeshurun Gross Family Library engages children and adults with Jewish books and media. You will find books for all ages on Bible and classical Jewish texts, Jewish thought, Jewish living, holidays, women, social issues, intermarriage and conversion, arts, history, Israel, current fiction, cookbooks, the newest edition of Encyclopedia Judaica and more. A computer with internet access is available for Jewish research. There is even a local author section. The library has a lively assortment of Jewish magazines and newspapers. There is also a collection of Jewish-themed videotapes, audiotapes, DVDs and music. The Gross Family Library is open most hours that the synagogue is open. Books may be checked out on weekdays and Sundays, and there is a system for Adath Jeshurun members to check books out without writing on Shabbat and holidays as well. Please call the synagogue at 952.545.2424 to inquire about the librarian’s current hours. |
Donations to the Gross Family Library Fund at Adath Jeshurun help to keep the library updated to benefit our community. For more information, contact Librarian Cathi Orkin Oskow at 952.215.3928. |
