B’Yachad Means ‘Together’!
B’Yachad is Adath Jeshurun Congregation’s Sunday morning program for children in Grades K-2.

When and Where Do We Meet?
B’Yachad meets on Sunday mornings, 9:15-11:15 am during the school year. All classes meet in The Nathan and Theresa Education Wing of Adath. Kindergarten meets on the first floor. First Grade and Second Grade meet on the second floor. Some activities such as story-telling and music take place in the ‘Pits’(open area) on the second floor. Services take place in the Adath chapel, and occasionally in the Pits.

What do we do at B’Yachad?
- ALL GRADES learn about tzedakah and mitzvot ben Adam l’havero (between one person and another)
- ALL GRADES enjoy monthly music with Laurie Herstig, by grade.
- ALL GRADES join together from 10:40-11:15 in an active, joyful, participatory prayer service are always welcome!

We emphasize Becoming a People, using the CHAI Curriculum adapted for Conservative Synagogue Schools.
SPECIAL PROGRAMS! Highlights of the year include a Tu B’shvat program and a Model Seder. Each grade level has a Family Program once a year for parents and children together.
To come in 2011-2012 – Parent Workshops on topics of interest to parents. Fun and engaging mitzvah projects for families. K-4 social events such as Movie Night at Adath!
