Sunday Minyan Breakfast
March 21 ● 9:30 am
Join us for 9:30 am minyan and breakfast on Sunday, March 21. Our congregant Elizabeth Schecter will offer a few words of reflection in memory of a loved one at breakfast immediately following the minyan service. The monthly minyan breakfast is a wonderful way to connect at the synagogue, enjoy conversation, and participate in the mitzvah of supporting our minyan and mourners in the congregation. All are welcome.
Hatan V’Kallah
Engaged and Newly Married
Couples Workshop
Hatan V’Kallah is a special four session marriage workshop for engaged and newly married couples, offered by Adath Jeshurun in cooperation with Beth El and B’nai Emet Synagogues and Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Minneapolis. This year it will take place on four weekday evenings, tentatively Wednesdays, March 3, 10, 17 and 24.
The workshop focuses on issues that are very important in building a loving and trusting relationship, including communication, values, expectations, sexuality and finances. During the series engaged and recently married couples also have the opportunity to get to know other couples who are experiencing similar joys and challenges.
We strongly encourage all Adath engaged and newly married couples who are in town to participate in this important series, which also gives our rabbis an opportunity to get to know them better. For more information or to RSVP please contact Nina Samuels at 952.215.3904 or ninas@adath.net.
If you know of couples whose engagement or marriage we may not be aware of, perhaps because they are not being married at Adath Jeshurun, please let us know who they are so our rabbis may send them personal invitations. Interfaith couples are especially welcome to participate.
