The L’Chaim Annual Campaign is essential to the health of our congregation. It includes the Yom Kippur Appeal and replaces other major fundraising efforts like the raffle and sponsorships. As synagogue dues only cover 43% of the total budget, without L’Chaim we would not be able to maintain our high level of service and community.

L’Chaim allows Adath to:

1.   Prepare our B'nai Mitzvah

2.   Help USYers go to life-changing events

3.   Help Gan kids start life with Jewish music, values and some
      Hebrew in addition to other wonderful skills

4.   Maintain our beautiful sanctuary so brides and grooms can
      start their lives together surrounded by beauty, faith and love

5.   Maintain the Social Hall so that congregant's life cycle
      celebrations are in a setting that adds to the joy of the
      occasion

6.   Help us attract and keep spiritual leaders that help make our
      lives more meaningful

7.   Attract national scholars and lecturers who stimulate our
      thoughts and aspirations

8.   Help us bring in internationally known artists (such as Yitzak
      Perlman and Art Garfunkel) to entertain us and the entire community

9.   Help us create a lengthy list of programs for congregants in
     preschool to congregants at Knollwood Place

10. Help us comfort families in moments of distress and loss

11. Help us maintain a community that some people use as
      frequently as everyday and others much less, but has
      important value for all and is always there when needed
