Gefilte Fish Meets Lutefisk!

Exciting news for Women's League Interfaith meeting! On Tuesday, February 21, from 10 AM to 12 PM the Westwood Lutheran Church, 9001 Cedar Lake Road in St. Louis Park, has invited Adath Women's League to be their guests for delicious snacks and desserts. They are a Lutheran congregation, located just east of the Adath (a stone's throw away from Adath) with lots of convenient parking. Pastor Tania Haber, Pastor Bruce Westphal (both from Westwood Lutheran) and our own Rabbi Kravitz and Jim Sherman will be giving their views on various topics.
We will learn about each other's traditions, philosophies, and try to find commonality in a gracious setting. There will be a question and answer period, so please think of a good question to ask. For those who are able, there will be a tour of their interesting remodeled church. Westwood has an active older adult program and they are very excited to invite Adath Women's League to their church.
The cost for the morning is $5.00, payable to Adath Women's League and sent to Chernie Levinson, 10521 Cedar Lake Road #317, Minnetonka, MN 55305. Deadline for reservations is Wednesday, February 15. Socks for the Homeless Project

The Adath Women's League has a new social action initiative. We will be providing NEW NON-WOOLEN SOCKS for children and adults in our community who live in homeless shelters.
We need the help of all Adath members to make this a successful project.
