2008-2009 Program Goals

1. Develop programming and coordination for Tu B'Shevat.

2. D'var Torah by Jewish farmer Mike Jacobs Tu Beshavat seder hosted by Rabbi Bursso and USY

3. Continue to engage synagogue members in discussions about food and sustainability: promote CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture) to members, host a CSA drop-off site, work with our community to get fresh, local produce to local food shelves.

4. Obtain funding for a bike rack.

5. Encourage USY to increase recycling and waste reduction at the Purim Carnival.

6. Housekeeping: Develop logo and website presence on Adath’s website.
