We Welcome Everyone

Adath is an inclusive community.

We welcome members of all ages, abilities, occupations and income levels, traditional and non-traditional families, gays, lesbians, same-sex parents, single parents, singles, students, and seniors. Adath Jeshurun never denies membership because of financial circumstances.

Adath Jeshurun welcomes and supports children and adults with disabilities, as well as their families. We make every effort to ensure that our programs, equipment and facilities are accessible to all.  Please contact Marlee Kivens at 612.701.4805 if you have any questions or concerns.

February is Jewish Disability Awareness Month

In honor of the second annual Jewish Disability Awareness Month, Adath’s Inclusion Committee members will present the d’var Torah on Shabbat morning, February 27, the morning before Purim. We’ll address "Hidden Disabilities and the Masks We Wear". Please join us!

On Saturday night, February 13, at the Sampler of Jewish Culture, watch for a session "Jews and Disabilities: From Invisibility to Visibly In", featuring Shelly Christensen, Program Manager of the Jewish Community Inclusion Program, and Adath members Marlee Kivens and Veta Segal.
